the dutch-african getaway (pt.1)

It's taken me far too long to post this (in fact, I still have three more rolls of film that I must get developed), but back in September, I ventured to two wonderful and exotic places: Amsterdam and South Africa! I've been finding it quite difficult these past few months to adequately articulate what those experiences were like, and I think, perhaps, my pictures do it better than I ever could. And though I was only in Amsterdam for two days, I feel so very lucky to have had the chance to go to both of these lovely places. I have all sorts of film photographs (ten rolls, to be exact) of lions and elephants and zebras and other brilliant wildlife, but some of my favorite memories were of the littlest, most insignificant moments on my adventure. x
